Hi all!
It would be extremely helpful to have a "Collapse All" and "Expand All" option for folders in both the Navigator and the Organizer.
When working in large projects with many folders, it's very time-consuming to manually collapse or expand each section. This functionality would improve workflow efficiency, especially when managing complex View Maps or Layout Books.
Suggested implementation:
Right-click menu option: Collapse All / Expand All
Or a dedicated button/icon in the Navigator/Organizer UI
This small addition would make a big difference in everyday use of Archicad.
When there are a lot of views in the View Map, it would be nice if ArchiCAD somehow marked views that are inserted somewhere on sheets or simply intended for publication as views.
Thanks to this, a user cleaning the View Map would not accidentally delete such a view.
All you need is a small symbol next to the view, for example a gray Layout icon in front of the View, or a gray paperclip icon, or something else...:
I know this has come up in many, many, many discussions; I'm surprised I did not see it in a wish list item here when I searched for it.
A client just asked me today if it was possible to hide the x/y/z (project origin) in 3d. He is trying to use the model to grab screen shots, and is tired of clone stamping out 'quick' screen shots to send to clients to get rid of that orign.
Could be a 3d style toggle, work environment toggle, or some other control to hide that? I know a lot of architects that use the live model in presentations and just take screen grabs in lieu of full renderings for quick sketches to consultants, builders, and clients; and the project origin is just the distraction any one needs to derail a presentation/meeting with a question like "whats that?"
Can you allow library objects to be rotated with a single click please, such as kitchen units, furniture, etc, as listed in the product roadmap. This would be highly useful.
